Seaside PONY Baseball & Softball offers organized baseball and softball for youth through multiple age-based divisions. The program includes leagues such as Shetland 6U, Pinto 8U, Mustang 10U, Bronco 12U, Pony 14U, Pre Rookie 8U, Rookie 10U, Minors 12U, and Majors 14U, with players grouped by age and skill level. Coaches in the program focus on both fundamentals and enjoyment of the game.

Seaside PONY Baseball & Softball is led by an Executive Board. Its mission is to “protect our nation’s youth” by implanting ideals of good sportsmanship, courage, obedience, loyalty, truth, and reverence, so that participants may be finer, stronger and happier young people and grow to be good clean healthy adults. The organization is a non-profit that is part of the PONY Northern California Coast Region. It is described as community-centered, with games, events, and volunteer efforts that strengthen the Seaside community, and it seeks sponsors, volunteers, and coaches from the community. The program emphasizes a character-first philosophy, teaching more than just baseball and softball by building leaders, teammates, and friends, and it places emphasis on developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence that last a lifetime.
