The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep offers theatre games, theatre classes, performance, and summer theatre camps. Students can take part in live Shakespeare performances, Shakespeare productions, and Shakespeare performance workshops, as well as stage combat workshops and acting technique workshops. Student productions are presented onstage at North Coast Repertory Theatre, unless otherwise noted.

• Schedule: In-person summer theatre programs run June through August; Shakespeare outreach productions and in-school residencies offer 50–60 minute sessions, up to six 50–60 minute sessions, or special one-time 2 or 3 hour sessions
Each year, The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep teams with communities throughout San Diego County to provide arts and education programs to children, teens, and senior citizens of different backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep offers an outreach touring Shakespeare production that can come to schools for free, featuring professional adult actors alongside Theatre School students in William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the current year. Previous outreach Shakespeare productions include Merry Wives of Windsor (2015), Twelfth Night (2017), Twelfth Night/Romeo and Juliet (2018–2020), Macbeth as a virtual performance (2021), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2022), and Twelfth Night (2023).
The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep states that its classes and camps teach collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking through interactive theatre games and performance. The program offers theatre classes grouped for ages 4–8, 8–12, and 12–19. Upcoming auditions have different casting requirements, age limitations, and roles available for each show, including performances of SIX the Musical Teen Edition scheduled for April 9–12, 2026, with shows on April 9 at 5:30PM, April 10 at 5:30PM, April 11 at 2PM and 5:30PM, and April 12 at 2PM. Discounts are available for student matinees and forums to all productions, including professional adult mainstage and student Theatre School productions.
