Beyond the Classroom

Beyond The Classroom offers the Beyond The Classroom after school enrichment program for children in grades K-5, along with a Homeschool Program, BTC Summer Camp, and Book Drop-In Care. The program is open year-round and is open during most school holidays and local school vacations, including spring break, winter break, and summer break.

About the provider

Beyond The Classroom is led by Samantha Montes, founder and Executive Director, and was founded by two South Pasadena moms and former educators. The program says it has been enriching children's minds for over a decade and describes itself as a "home away from home" with a play-based environment, monthly parent education meetings, community partnerships, and field trips to museums, farms, theaters, and gardens.

10% sibling discount available and applied to the sibling enrolled with a lower rate (not applicable for daily rates). New Family Registration is $200. Tuition Deposit is $100, applied to last month. Supplemental fees apply for field trips and enrichment when BTC is open and SPUSD is closed.
