Young Stars Theatre Academy Camp

Young Stars Theatre Academy offers theatre workshops, fun-filled camps every spring, summer, and winter, and a weekly improv class where kids participate in live performances in front of audiences. The program also offers private singing, acting, and audition coaching, as well as activities such as outings, improv competitions, an annual Holiday Party, Murder Mystery nights, and movie nights. Members can also take part in behind-the-scenes work like casting, directing, props, costumes, set building and painting, hanging posters, helping with set building and painting, and working concessions.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Price: $75 each month membership dues; basic membership benefits value up to $580 a month; weekly improv class value $200 a month; reduced rates on private singing, acting, and audition coaching value $45–$180 a month; reduced rates on show and camp tuition $150 per show; members get one free ticket for themselves to one performance of each run of a show or cast that they are not in, and can bring up to two guests with them to that performance for half price (up to $50 value)

Company Membership at Young Stars Theatre Academy is granted by invitation only, after completing a show with the program. Members can attend the weekly improv class for free, receive reduced rates on private coaching and on show and camp tuition, and get first notification of upcoming auditions with a guaranteed registration spot within the first 24 hours of notice. Members can attend basic member activities such as outings, improv competitions, and the annual Holiday Party described as “The best party EVER!”, and can earn Elite stamps for helping out and work hours that can be exchanged for treats and events like Murder Mystery nights, movie nights, or being taken to a show. Members also have the opportunity to be an elected officer or a committee chairman, and can apply to learn different positions involved in mounting and running a production. Young Stars Theatre Academy lists a membership event called “Prom Scream! A 90's Murder Mystery,” and offers a mailing list to stay up to date on auditions and shows. The mission statement of Young Stars Theatre Academy is “Igniting Passion, Building Confidence, & Cultivating Performance.”
