Millennium Dance Complex was established after Ann Marie Hudson relocated to Los Angeles from New York City in 1992, and she is the Founder, Owner, and CEO. The studio features an iconic red wall, vibrant studio spaces, and is known worldwide as the premiere studio of the commercial dance world, widely referred to as “the place where it all happens.” Its unique features include walk-in access for drop in classes, an official mobile app available on Apple and Android, and Red Wall Tutorials that stream on all devices and platforms with new classes and exclusive content added regularly. The studio has A-list clientele and a faculty described as some of the most sought after dancers and choreographers in the world, and it launched a scholarship for dancers of all levels. The Beginner Reggaeton Intensive is described as fostering confidence and growth and offering practical tools to grow as a dancer beyond the intensive. Community involvement has included events such as the HELP MAUI RISE FUNDRAISER, an End of Summer Party, and participation in a halftime event with Jennifer Lopez.

The mission statement by AnnMarie Hudson from 2000 describes Millennium Dance Complex as “a place of dancing” for those who put their body, heart, and mind to the test, emphasizing respect for dance, dancers, and oneself, and describing a world within its walls driven by movement, music, strength, and love. Testimonials include comments such as “Millennium, you guys always come through,” “Can someone take me to Millennium?”, and “My MDC Family, I love this studio. Thanks for everything you have done for me and the [Pussycat] Dolls.” Another testimonial from Marty Kudelka, Justin Timberlake’s choreographer and creative director, describes it as “like a dancer all-star game, day in and day out” and notes that “everyone I work for loves it there” and that it is “discreet, professional, and has amazing vibes.”
