Sunnyvale Advanced Juniors is a coed volleyball program where participants play volleyball, take part in games, and complete a skills assessment by a coach. The program uses a 6 v 6 format and is designed for players that have the basic fundamentals of volleyball. A uniform t-shirt is provided for each participant.
• Ages: 12–18 years old
• Schedule: 10-week program on Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, running from April 4, 2026, to June 13, 2026
• Price: Early Registration: $550 due by 12/01/25. Regular Registration: $600 until 03/01/26. Late Registration: $650 until 04/01/26.
The program is open to boys and girls ages 12–18, with two age divisions: 15 Under and 18 Under, and ages are defined according to how old participants are on November 1 of the participating year. Each program is structured around two 90-minute practices per week and includes games, and skills assessment by the coach will take place during practice during the first four practices. The goal of the Advanced Juniors program is to create a pathway for players to advance to a higher level of competition such as high school or club volleyball.
The instructor has experience playing or coaching volleyball at the high school, club, college, or higher level. The mission statement for the program is “Playing volleyball in a fun, safe environment nationwide!” USYVL is fueled by volunteers and relies on dedicated parents to make each season a success. Work hours for the organization are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday and Sunday closed.
