Aikido Silicon Valley offers training in Aikido that includes self-defense techniques, throws, joint locks, immobilizations, strikes, and defense against multiple attackers. Classes also include weapons training with a wooden sword (bokken) and a staff (jo). The program follows Aikido principles of harmony, blending with adversity, and leading conflict to a positive resolution.

Aikido Silicon Valley has been located in Sunnyvale, California since 1998 and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The dojo is a member of the Takemusu Aikido Association and has affiliated dojos including Aikido By The Bay in San Mateo and others listed in the Takemusu Aikido Association dojo directory. Aikido Silicon Valley offers a free 3 day trial program that includes individualized training and an introduction to Aikido fundamentals, and visitors are welcome to observe a class. Classes are tailored to the student regardless of past experience or physical condition.
Bill Witt Shihan teaches two classes a week at Aikido Silicon Valley and holds the rank of 8th degree black belt awarded by the Aikikai Foundation. He was promoted to 8th degree black belt by the Aikikai Foundation and received his 8th dan certificate from Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba at Hombu Dojo in Tokyo on January 8, 2017.
