Pure Taekwondo offers training in Taekwondo, including Olympic-style Taekwondo, Olympic sparring, Sports Poomsae, and Poomsae. The program also includes practical self-defense as part of its regular training. A 4-week trial of unlimited classes is available through the PURE TKD - Kickstarter Trial, which includes a free uniform.

Pure Taekwondo was founded in 2004 and was officially opened to the public in Sunnyvale in 2012. The program is led by Grandmaster Carlo, a Kukkiwon-certified 7th Dan Black Belt, Kukkiwon-certified International Master, and Poom/Dan Examiner. Training follows Kukkiwon-certified martial arts standards, and every student who achieves a Black Belt earns official certification directly from Kukkiwon in South Korea. Pure Taekwondo began as a private training venture in Silicon Valley, providing instruction to professionals and executives from companies such as Google, LinkedIn, Apple, and NVIDIA. The academy describes its mission as cultivating exceptional martial artists who embody the true spirit of Taekwondo through authentic training, world-champion instruction, unwavering determination, and the pursuit of personal excellence in all aspects of life.
Families and students have shared feedback such as, “PURE TAEKWONDO is the pinnacle of martial arts and taekwondo instruction! My family and I love it here,” from Tatyana K. Another student, A. J. Thomas, stated, “I've been coming to PURE TAEKWONDO for 5 years, and just got my 2nd Dan.
