About
Piano4Everyone offers piano lessons that include group piano lessons, private piano lessons, sight-reading, and ear training. All private and group piano lessons at the Piano4Everyone studio take place on state-of-the-art digital pianos. The program includes small classes of up to 8 people, where students share the learning experience with others in interactive classes and a friendly atmosphere.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Price: Group lessons are not only more fun, but they are also more affordable. We offer multilevel fees so that those who enroll with friends or family receive discounts.
The goal of Piano4Everyone is “Changing Lives Through Music with a New Way of Learning Piano.” The philosophy of this Tarzana music school is to teach students how to enjoy the piano learning process, using a unique and innovative piano method that allows teaching at a faster pace while motivating students and developing a love of playing piano. Students are taught sight-reading, ear training, and other subjects in a pleasant and supportive atmosphere, and they receive a progress report or certificate every term so their achievements can be monitored.
The entire faculty are university-trained professional musicians with extensive teaching and performing experience. The founder, Dr. Katya Gliadkovsky, holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and has been featured on NBC, Universal’s Kelly Clarkson Show. Piano4Everyone describes itself as “#1 Group Piano and Music Education for students of all ages, from children to adults, Unique, Innovative, Fun, and Affordable,” and as “the new way of learning to play an instrument.”
Piano4Everyone states that participation does not require talent or training, that exemplary performance is not the motive, and that fun and relaxation are the key drivers. The program states that it is distinct from “regular” music making because its purpose is the enjoyment and well-being of the participant and the group, not an artistic or aesthetic outcome. Piano4Everyone also states that it tears down the idea that music is only for a select group called musicians or that getting into music requires a huge investment in equipment, time, and talent.
The program notes that lessons start and end on time, with clear studio policies, straightforward billing, and open communication with parents. Piano4Everyone reports that it services Tarzana and the greater San Fernando Valley.
