Knauer Music School

Knauer Music School offers piano lessons, voice and singing lessons, guitar lessons, violin, cello, viola, and bass lessons, drum lessons, woodwind and brass lessons, and music camps. Piano lessons are offered from beginning to advanced, and the school also offers MTAC Certificate of Merit and Royal Conservatory curriculum for piano.

• Piano Lessons — Ages 3 to Adults · Beginning to advanced; high quality acoustic pianos; MTAC Certificate of Merit and Royal Conservatory curriculum offered.
• Voice/Singing Lessons — Ages 4 to Adults · Styles include pop, rock, gospel, jazz, musical theater, R&B, country, soul, opera and more.
• Guitar Lessons — Ages 6 to Adults · Includes bass guitar, ukulele and mandolin lessons; genres include rock, blues, metal, folk, country, pop and classical.
• Violin, Cello, Viola, Bass Lessons — Ages 4 to Adults · Genres include classical, pop, country, folk, rock and more.
• Drum Lessons — Ages 6 to Adults · Genres include rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues, and more; students can use a real acoustic drum set at the school.
• Woodwind and Brass Lessons — All Ages · Includes saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, baritone, and tuba.
• Music Camps — Ages 4 and up · Group camps in the summer and the winter.

About the provider

Robbie Knauer and Ben Knauer are the owners of Knauer Music School. The school states that its teachers have university training or professional performance experience nationally and internationally, and several are recording artists. Teachers are members of MTAC, Royal Conservatory, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and California Association of Professional Music Teachers.

Parents are involved for younger students and are kept informed of progress. The school offers lessons 7 days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM. A 14-day advance notice is required to discontinue lessons. There is a $35 registration fee at the time of registration. Tuition is charged 2 days after the first lesson, and monthly tuition is charged on the 1st of each month. A non-auto-pay charge of $20 above the standard autopay rate applies if a valid card is not on file.
