Knauer Music School offers individual and group music lessons, including piano, voice, singing, guitar, bass, violin, cello, saxophone, trumpet, flute, drums, ukulele, viola, clarinet, and general music lessons. The program includes group piano lessons as well as lessons on high quality acoustic pianos. Lessons are available in students’ homes, in the school’s studios, or online.

Knauer Music School is owned by Robbie Knauer and Ben Knauer, with Syd as School Director, Rosana as Executive Director, and Vanessa as Assistant Director. For twenty consecutive years, Robbie Knauer was involved in their children's musical education. The school states a mission to provide a fulfilling and inspiring experience to students by giving meaningful support to their different musical interests and goals.
All instructors have university training or professional performance experience both nationally and internationally, and several teachers are recording artists. The staff includes classically trained teachers with doctorate degrees as well as Jazz and Hip-Hop teachers. Teachers at Knauer Music School include members of the Royal Conservatory, Music Teachers Association of California, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and California Association of Professional Music Teachers. The school offers MTAC Certificate of Merit and Royal Conservatory curriculum, a piano curriculum and annual piano festivals designed to measure and motivate piano students, and opportunities to participate in the Certificate of Merit Program and National Guild of Piano Teachers Auditions.
Families can arrange for several instrumental lessons in one location, and children in the same family can have their lessons scheduled at the same time. The school states that it teaches children of all ages and adults from beginners to advanced students and that all instruments are taught. The program states that its students get into top music schools in the country. The school presents recitals two times a year, including one annual recital each June.
