Tae Ryong Taekwondo offers Taekwondo training that includes self-defense techniques and daily training in Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverence, and Indomitable Spirit. The program also includes memorizing the 7 Home Rules for Kids, which is how students earn their first belt, the white belt. Classes take place at Tae Ryong Taekwondo Studios.

The Tae Ryong School of Taekwondo was founded in 1982 and has served its communities for almost 40 years. The school describes Tae Ryong Taekwondo Studios as places where families can be together and strive for the common goal of excellence. The name “Tae Ryong” means “Constantly Growing Dragon,” and the school states that, like a “Gigantic and Constantly Growing Dragon,” every student has the opportunity for growth and that potential is infinite. The school’s goal is symbolized with a Black Belt, and Taekwondo is noted as a national sport in South Korea, with kyeorugi listed as a sport event in the Olympic Games.
The leadership team includes Grand Master Yong Shin, founder of The Tae Ryong School of Taekwondo, and Grand Master Yong Sup Shin. The instructors are Taekwondo Masters, which the school defines as 4th Dan (Black Belt) and above, and Grand Master Shin is a 9th Degree Black Belt, described as the highest rank attainable. The school states that it strives for excellence and trains students to maintain the highest physical and mental standards for increased motivation and self-esteem.
