Hillcrest Center for the Arts Youth Programs include stand-up comedy shows, theatre performances, performing and fine arts classes, summer camps for youth, elementary music programs, cultural programming, fitness classes, and music and dance performances. The Hillcrest Center for the Arts describes itself as an epicenter of arts activity in the Conejo Valley and as the Conejo Valley's connection to professional and quality community theatre, performing and fine arts classes for youth and adults, summer camps for youth, elementary music programs, cultural programming, fitness classes, and music and dance performances of all kinds. The Hillcrest Center Galleria is curated by the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley and displays numerous exhibits of local visual artists each year, including five hallway gallery shows annually such as the Best of the Best youth show in January and an open artist show in the summer. The leadership team includes Brianne Anderson (Recreation Supervisor for Cultural Unit and YAE Executive Director), Megan McDonough (Recreation Coordinator Cultural Unit and YAE Producer & Managing Director), Natalie DeSavia (Recreation Specialist Cultural Unit and YAE Associate Producer, Box Office, Marketing and Projections), Mark Andrew Reyes (Recreation Specialist Cultural Unit and YAE Artistic & Technical Director), Ian Kelley (Recreation Specialist and YAE Lighting & Sound Designer), and Lauren Alexander (Senior Recreation Leader Cultural Unit and YAE Techie Program Coordinator and Stage Management Support).
