The Hillcrest Center for the Arts Youth Programs operate within a larger arts program that describes itself as an epicenter of arts activity in the Conejo Valley and as the Conejo Valley's connection to professional and quality community theatre. The Hillcrest Center Galleria is curated by the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley and presents five shows annually, including the Best of the Best youth show in January and an open artist show in the summer. The Hillcrest Center for the Arts is staffed by the Conejo Recreation and Park District and owned by the City of Thousand Oaks. The leadership team includes Brianne Anderson, Megan McDonough, Natalie DeSavia, Mark Andrew Reyes, Ian Kelley, and Lauren Alexander in various cultural, production, technical, and coordination roles.
