About
Riviera Kids Club offers activities that include dance, art, cooking, camps, a You & Me Baking Class, an acro class, and tap lessons. The program includes three distinctive parts: RKC Dance Academy, RKC Art Studio, and RKC Culinary School.
• Ages: 1–16 years old
• Price: Trial classes are available for a fee, equivalent to the cost of a single class.
Riviera Kids Club offers classes for ages 1–16 and camps for ages 4–11. The program states both an 8:1 ratio in all classes and camps and a 10:1 ratio. The program has a zero bullying policy, follows safety guidelines set by the county, and provides a Parent Portal.
The staff is CPR certified. Founder and director Michelle Colón is certified as an Acrobatic Arts Instructor. The stated mission is that children thrive when they feel safe, heard, and inspired, and that a child’s physical and emotional well-being always comes first, with a focus on providing a supportive space to grow with confidence and joy.
Parent feedback includes a parent of a 5-year-old who reports that their child loves coming to dance with Ms. Michelle and has learned many different dance techniques in what they describe as a warm, supportive, welcoming, and fun atmosphere. A parent of a 4-year-old describes the You & Me Baking Class as a weekly class with kid-friendly recipes that are often designed to help children work on fine motor skills and that has increased their child’s confidence and interest in cooking. A parent of an 11-year-old reports that their child loves the acro class and tap lessons, notes that Miss Michelle keeps safety a priority in acro, and says the tap teacher breaks down complex combinations in a way the child finds easy and enjoyable to learn, and that they highly recommend Riviera Kids Club for children beginning their dance journey.
