About
Tahoe Summer Camps offers activities that include Whitewater Rafting, Backpacking, Art & Adventure, Pure Sports, Primitive Skills, Performing Arts, Rock Climbing, Visual Arts, Sailing, and scrambling and climbing. Campers may backpack in Desolation Wilderness, whitewater raft the American River, sail on Lake Tahoe, scramble and climb at Donner Summit, and travel to crags and climbs along the Eastern Sierra.
Tahoe Summer Camps is operated by Tahoe Expedition Academy. Camps are led by professional educators, artists, makers, climbers, wilderness experts and pro-athletes. The leadership team includes Eric Martin, Tahoe Summer Camps Director, and Liam Nigro, Tahoe Summer Camps Supervisor. One parent shared, "My child had a blast backpacking in Desolation Wilderness with Tahoe Summer Camps' expert backcountry guides. She's excited for next year's Advanced Backpacking Trip and exploring deeper, higher and further than ever before!"
