Tahoe Truckee School of Music

Tahoe Truckee School of Music offers music lessons and programs, including group classes and performance experiences for students of all ages. The program includes youth band coaching, a Song Group, Jam Nights, outreach and education, community performances, and an instrument loan option. Instructors and other local musicians connected with the school also provide professional live entertainment for weddings, ceremonies, and other events through Tahoe Music Professionals.

Tahoe Truckee School of Music is a non-profit community music school and a California 501c3 nonprofit corporation. Its mission is cultivating life skills and community through music for everyone, regardless of age, experience, ability, or financial resources. The Tahoe Joy Festival is a free, family-friendly event that supports Tahoe Truckee School of Music and features a full day of live performances, local artists and vendors, food and beverage trucks, and community connection. Free music lessons are available in Truckee and Tahoe City, and proceeds and support from the Tahoe Joy Festival help expand access to music education and arts opportunities throughout the Tahoe Truckee region.
