Pulse Drumming & Pulse Music Academy offers private lessons with professional music educators for all ages and abilities. The program provides multiple instrument instruction, including drumset, timpani, djembe, dun dun’s, conga, bongo, cajon, tabla, frame drums, piano, marimba, supportive percussion, orchestral percussion, and marching percussion. Students take part in one-on-one instruction, masterclasses, collaborations with accomplished performers, and high-energy ensemble playing, and can also access music therapy services, custom build drum set consultations, drum repairs, and insurance/probate estimates.
The program’s mission is to provide the highest-level of music instruction with an emphasis on creativity. Pulse Drumming & Pulse Music Academy describes its environment as family friendly and offers unique experiences and exceptional educational opportunities with world class instructors. The leadership team includes Trey O’Toole, a current Drum Set Committee Member of the Percussive Arts Society, and Kim Brower, a member of The Inaugural Diversity Alliance Committee of the Percussive Arts Society. The program is a proud and active member of the Percussive Arts Society, which was established in 1961 as a non-profit music service organization, and Kim Brower has also served as an Interactive Drumming Committee Member, Rhythm Discovery Day Chair, and Percussive Notes Associate Editor.
