Happy Times Child Development Center follows an educational, play-based curriculum in an inclusive, bilingual environment where children learn English and Spanish. The program is a boutique, family-owned program that offers continuity of care from as young as 6 weeks until kindergarten. Classrooms use neutral tones and natural textures, bright natural light from large windows, indoor plants, open layouts, family photos, child-created decor, child-sized furnishings, dedicated learning centers, and an age-appropriate library.
Teachers and staff members are CPR-certified. The program provides healthy home-cooked food at no extra cost prepared by in-house cooks and participates in the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program). Daily sanitizing of spaces, weekly professional deep cleaning, and the use of disinfecting foggers are part of the center’s cleaning routines. The center uses secure fences around the yard and keypad locks on doors and entrances and follows a non-discrimination policy in accordance with federal civil rights law and USDA regulations.
