About
Offense-Defense Football Camps offers instructional football camps and summer football camps that include specific options such as a Player Development Camp, Mini-Camp Day, Mega Camp Day, Mega Camp Extended Day, and Mega Camp Sleepover. Camp activities include Standard Athletic Testing (S.A.T.), and some campers are evaluated for Youth All-American Bowl Games, the ODFL National tournament, and other events during Bowl Week such as awards dinners, press conferences, a youth football convention, and a coaches clinic. Campers also receive free online access to an Offense-Defense personal, Placement, Recruiting, and Exposure (PREview) profile.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: June 19–21, 2026 (Los Angeles – Whittier College summer camp session dates)
Offense-Defense Football Camps uses NFL players and coaches, and college coaches as part of its coaching staff. Each player is evaluated by coaching staff and dedicated regional scouts using a modified pro-style system, and athletes are ranked by position and age group, locally and nationally, using a combination of Standardized Athletic Testing, evaluations, and coach feedback. Players learn safe, game-winning techniques, tenacity, fair play, and teamwork, and receive professional and quality instruction for beginners along with advanced instruction for skilled players. The program’s philosophy focuses on teaching technique, not tactics, and also includes instruction on how to improve stamina, speed, and agility.
Offense-Defense Sports began with one instructional football camp in the summer of 1969 and has been shaping the future of football for over 50 years. Over 600 Offense-Defense alumni from camps and Bowl have gone on to the NFL, and 28 of 32 NFL teams have active Offense-Defense alumni. Offense-Defense has the largest number of FBS Division 1 signees, and showcase locations are available nationwide with commuter and overnight options, as well as non-contact and full-contact curriculum. Offense-Defense football camps are used to evaluate the best high school athletes for inclusion in the end-of-year Offense-Defense All-American Bowl Week, where 80 of the top high school athletes across the country are invited to play in showdowns. The organization reports that it spoke with every pro team’s PR or Community Relations department and discovered that there are hundreds of former Offense-Defense campers in the NFL.
