Sterling Riding Academy

Sterling Riding Academy offers riding instruction for all levels of riders, with a proven curriculum that includes both group instruction and private instruction. Participants work on beginning riding and horsemanship skills such as riding at the walk and trot, starting, stopping and steering a horse, learning patterns, and learning to canter. More advanced activities include riding at the walk, trot and canter, beginning dressage, cavalleti, basic dressage movements, jumping courses, and unmounted skills, using dedicated lesson horses that have experience with all levels of riders. The program also offers summer horse camps at the beginning to intermediate level, with camps available in half-day and full-day programs, along with options for boarding horses enrolled in lesson and training programs and leasing for dedicated year-round riders interested in progressing horsemanship skills.
