SUP Camp Wash Park focuses on stand up paddleboarding, with campers practicing both flat-water paddling and whitewater paddling. Campers work on learning basic strokes, water safety, river reading, and rescue techniques such as swim rescue, recovering a lost board, and towing an injured paddler.

SUP Camp Wash Park runs as a 1-week session with camp hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, with extended care available from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. The program operates under the guidance of highly trained instructors who are all 18 and older with serious safety and skills training. The leadership team includes founder David Secunda, a former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year veteran of the outdoor education industry. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association, is a Certified B Corp, and has been named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps. Campers are grouped by grade range, either 2nd–4th graders or 5th–7th graders, and receive individualized support as they develop technical skills, with access to top-of-the-line gear specifically sized for kids.

SUP Day Camp campers should have some previous experience paddling in standing or moving water, must feel fully comfortable on open water, and must be comfortable being fully submerged in water for short periods of time. The program is backed by the Avid4 Adventure Guarantee, and transportation to and from recreation areas is provided. According to the mission statement, Avid4 Adventure believes in the transformative power of the outdoors, where kids build confidence, make new friends, and master essential skills in activities like paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking, and its summer camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps. Programs from this organization evolve with campers from age 3 through 17.
