The camp runs as a one-week session with camp hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, and extended care available from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Campers get comfortable using carabiners, stoppers, camalots, and belay devices as they practice equipment setup and traditional gear placement. Campers are taken out every day to climb at some of the area’s best crags, tackling a range of rock types, styles, and levels of difficulty, and they focus on a personal development theme each day in a girls-only environment. Multiple sessions are described as resulting in greater skill development, increased self-confidence, higher levels of risk assessment and environmental awareness, and an improved ability to connect socially with others and make new friends.

The program is part of Avid4 Adventure, which states a mission of believing in the transformative power of the outdoors, where kids build confidence, make new friends, and master essential skills in activities like paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. The camp is backed by the Avid4 Adventure Guarantee, which includes authentic outdoor adventure, incredibly well-trained and professional staff, increased confidence, and a customer experience that is described as exceeding parents’ expectations; if these promises are not met, the next Avid4 Adventure camp is free. Parent testimonials describe Avid4 Adventure as a really well-run program where kids learn new outdoor skills, with one parent noting that their child learned to ride a bike without training wheels during camp, and others noting that their children were active every day, learned new activities, and wanted to return the following year.
