The mission of Avid4 Adventure is to use the outdoors so kids build confidence, make new friends, and master skills in activities like paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. The organization operates summer day camps, overnight camps, school programs, and events, and offers programs that evolve from age 3 through 17, including a Girls Rock Climbing Camp in an all-girls environment. Additional features include transportation to and from recreation areas, access to top-of-the-line gear, an Avid4 Adventure Guarantee, financial assistance, multi-session and sibling discounts, a referral program, and a service discount.

Avid4 Adventure Camps is led by David Secunda, former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year veteran of the outdoor education industry. All instructors are at least 18 years old and have safety and skills training. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association, is a Certified B Corp, and has been named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps and Top 5 Sports Camps in Colorado. Avid4 Adventure operates under a Special Use authorization from the National Forest Service and is described as a 5-star rated camp and the home of multi-sport adventure.

Parent testimonials from 2023 report that campers learned stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and biking skills, including learning to ride a bike without training wheels, and that children were active every day and learning outdoor skills. Parents also describe the staff as mature, responsible, and excited to share their passion with kids, and note that their children talked about camp long after it ended and wanted to return the following year.
