Cotillion in Highlands Ranch has been a tradition in the community for over 15 years and is described as a social education program offering a modern “spin” on social skills and manners. The Cotillion curriculum has been modernized for a new generation and teaches etiquette, manners, and social skills without “old-fashioned” elements that are described as outdated in today’s digital world. Cotillion uses social dance in all classes to break down social barriers and allow students to build teamwork skills. Club Cotillion addresses basics of social skills learning, including first impressions, building friendships, being a good team player, dealing with difficult situations, making good choices, and an introduction to table manners.
Social Skills Essentials is an advanced social skills course for 6th–8th grade students that explores face to face communication, building new relationships, championing values, progressive aspects of dining etiquette protocol, and preparation for future special events and job interviews. Social Skills Essentials emphasizes respecting themselves and others, teamwork, leadership, citizenship, and community service. The Social Skills Essentials curriculum finishes with a memorable evening with a sit-down dinner at the Highlands Ranch Mansion.
HRCA’s Creative Kids Programs teach social/emotional skills, fine/gross motor skills, and healthy coping and self-regulation skills. HRCA Preschools participate in the Universal Preschool Program through the State of Colorado. HRCA offers over 300 instructor-facilitated online courses that are described as informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. HRCA also offers a wide range of adult and young adult seminars on current topics like financial management, Living Trusts, and SAT/ACT prep.

The Highlands Ranch Community Association and Platinum Protocol state that they are proud to continue the legacy of Cotillion, a tradition in the Highlands Ranch Community for over 15 years.
