About

YMCA Summer Camps include day camp and overnight camp options with activities such as climbing, horseback riding, sports, games, hiking, biking, lake adventures, art, archery, obstacle courses and campfires. Campers take part in songs, chants and dance parties, as well as swim lessons and sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball and flag football. The program also connects with other YMCA offerings such as small group training, yoga, after-school programs, youth enrichment classes, youth sports, teen programs including E-Sports, homework help and service projects, along with pickleball, Pilates Reformer and personal training.

YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake day camps focus on exploration, nature education and outdoor recreation, and the overnight camp includes hiking, biking, climbing, lake adventures, art, archery, obstacle courses and campfires. At Camp Elks, families can choose climbing and horseback riding add-ons. Kinder Camp is based on the traditional day camp experience and is structured for younger children, and CCAP is accepted for Kinder Camp.

YMCA Summer Camps use CampDoc for emergency medical information, medication information and waivers, and families receive CampDoc login information after registration. The CampDoc profile must be completed 2 weeks before a child attends camp, and some medication administration requires additional time to coordinate with the nurse and train staff. Rocky Mountain Sunscreen, a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen, is provided for all campers and is applied regularly throughout the day, so families do not need to pack sunscreen.
