Avid4 Adventure operates under a Special Use authorization from the National Forest Service and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The mission statement for Avid4 Adventure says that the organization believes in the transformative power of the outdoors and that kids build confidence, make new friends, and master essential skills in activities like paddling, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. It also states that Avid4 Adventure was started to give kids a love of outdoor activity and to support future caretaking of the planet. The program is accredited by the American Camp Association, is a Certified B Corp, and has been named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps. Avid4 Adventure notes that its programs evolve from age 3 through a camper’s first summer job and that top-tier staff are the number one point of positive feedback from parents.
Parent testimonials describe campers learning new outdoor skills such as riding a bike without training wheels and developing strong interest in standup paddleboarding, kayaking, and biking. Parents also report that their children were active every day and continued talking about camp well after it ended. One parent notes that staff are mature, responsible, and excited to share their passion with children.
