Campus KidCare offers activities such as arts & crafts, music & drama, discovery projects, special interest activities, table games, cup cooking experiences, environmental studies, educational movies, tutoring, sports, and games. The program also includes homework help, language skills practice, motor building activities, and social exercises. Each Campus KidCare site has its own telephone, and the program provides a nutritious snack each afternoon.

• Schedule: KidCare operates during the school-year at participating sites as well as Summer Camp.
Campus KidCare is dedicated to providing a safe, accessible, affordable, developmentally sound child care program for elementary school children. SSYFS Campus KidCare is an enrichment program created by the Polk County School System and local child care providers. The program is open to a limited number of children and works within a staff/child ratio of 1:17. It is designed to provide children with “that ‘little extra,’ educationally, socially, culturally, emotionally and academically.”
