Campus KidCare offers activities such as arts & crafts, music & drama, discovery projects, special interest activities, table games, cup cooking experiences, environmental studies, educational movies, tutoring, sports, games, language skills practice, motor building activities, social exercises, and homework help. The program provides a nutritious snack each afternoon and is open to a limited number of children.

The program is dedicated to providing a safe, accessible, affordable, developmentally sound child care program for elementary school children. SSYFS Campus KidCare is an enrichment program created by the Polk County School System and local child care providers. The program was developed because parents requested an after school child care activity club. Staff, volunteers, and specialists work within a staff/child ratio of 1:17, and each Campus KidCare site has its own telephone. Campus KidCare has staff to provide homework help.
