Collier County Parks & Recreation Programs offers access to state-of-the-art recreation centers, breathtaking parks, picturesque beaches, and exceptional green spaces. The program includes a wide range of recreational activities for participants in these settings. All activities are part of the broader Collier County Parks & Recreation system of programs.
The department’s vision is “To enrich the quality of life of the people we serve.” Its mission is “To provide safe and sustainable leisure and recreational opportunities for the communities we serve.” The leadership team includes Director James Hanrahan, Parks Facilities Manager Eric Short, Parks Operations Manager Jeanine McPherson, and Regional Managers Marissa Baker (Region 2), Said Gomez (Region 3), and Randi Swinderman (Region 4), with some regional and assistant director positions listed as vacant.
