4C Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool

4C Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool offers Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool programs in 4C’s directly operated early education classrooms. The programs include early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services for low-income children and their families. Early Head Start also includes services for pregnant women and their families.

• Schedule: Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

4C Early Head Start and Head Start Preschool support child development for eligible low-income families with children from birth to age 5. Head Start Preschool serves families with children between ages 3 and 5, and Early Head Start serves infants and toddlers under age 3 and pregnant women. The programs are Cognia accredited. 4C’s mission is to be a community leader in providing high-quality services that improve the lives of children and families. 4C is the leading family resource agency in Florida.

The Child Care Food Program connected with 4C reimburses eligible child care centers and home providers, including sponsored child care providers, for serving healthy meals that meet Child Care Food Program meal requirements, and provides access to resources, training, and assistance. The 4C Education & Training Department provides required training classes and hours needed to work in a Family Home Child Care or Child Care Center/Facility, and 4C provides state-mandated competency exams to child care providers in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Neighborhood Centers for Families bring together non-profit organizations, government agencies, churches, and community groups to offer multiple services and activities to Orange County residents in one place.
