Day Camps for Kids offers themed music day camps where students take part in music-focused activities built around specific themes. Students meet in week-long sessions to build their skills and understanding and to prepare for a student-led camp showcase. The program includes options for beginners and more advanced young musicians, including both instrumentalists and vocalists, ages 5 and up, within a broader catalog of day camps for students in grades K–5.

Day Camps for Kids is part of CMC Atlanta, a music education company founded in 2007 as the L5P Music Center. CMC Atlanta designs and implements comprehensive educational programs for students PreK through adult that focus on the development of music skills and concepts, with options structured to meet a variety of interests and schedule needs. CMC Atlanta programs are described as serving beginners through advanced pre-professionals, with access for brand new beginners in most programs as part of its community music school model. The organization also operates five neighborhood community music schools that offer historically informed, innovative music education programs for students age 4 and up, and it notes that it has something for learners from beginner to pre-professional levels. Working in collaboration with Capstone Academy, an accredited private school, CMC Atlanta created a high school conservatory program, Atlanta Music High School, which opened in August 2017. CMC Atlanta has been recognized as the 2024 and 2025 Best of Georgia Georgia Business Journal Music School and Instruction category winner.
