Amphibian Foundation Educational Programs offers a range of activities including Critter Parties, Critter Camp, Critter Cafè, and Critter Caretakers: Amphibian & Reptile Care for the Jr Herpetologist. The program also includes several herpetology courses such as the Master Herpetologist Program, Southeastern Master Herpetologist Program, Junior Master Herpetologist Programs (including Level II), and the Husbandry & Captive Management Course. Additional offerings include the Venomous Training & Certification Program, Venomous Competency Training, Critters & Cabernet, and the year-long Conservation Research Bridge Program.

The Amphibian Foundation Educational Programs are part of America’s only independent amphibian conservation center, which was founded in 2016 with the single purpose of stopping the extinction of the Frosted Flatwoods Salamander. The organization states that registrations to its programs fund critical conservation research and that it historically held the only ex situ population of Frosted Flatwoods Salamanders in the world. Its mission is to connect individuals, communities, and organizations to create and implement lasting solutions to the global amphibian extinction crisis.
The leadership team includes founders Mark Mandica (Executive Director) and Crystal Mandica (Director of Education), along with staff in roles such as Research Coordinator, Conservation Collections Coordinator, Urban Ecologist, Amphibian Disease Biologist, Venomous Programs Coordinator, Bridge Program Coordinator, Field Biologist, Consulting Biologist, Education Coordinator, Educational Programs Coordinator, Virtual Education Coordinator, Events Coordinator, Virtual Education Administrator, Collections Manager, Laboratory Manager & Invertebraculturist, Facilities Manager, Communications Lead, Social Media Coordinator, content and magazine staff, photographers, Web Developer, Venom Instructor, Copperhead Hotline Coordinator & Assistant Venom Instructor, Assistant Venom Instructors, and Copperhead Hotline Response Team. The Master Herpetologist Program is described as a globally acclaimed, college-level course in herpetology, and the Venomous Training & Certification Program states that, using its techniques and protocols, no one has ever been bitten by a venomous serpent. The Amphibian Foundation is described as a registered nonprofit corporation licensed and permitted in the state of Georgia and by the United States Fish & Wildlife Service, and its Board of Advisors includes individuals affiliated with organizations such as National Geographic and Photo Ark, Turner Foundation, Captain Planet Foundation, Orianne Society, Blue Heron Nature Preserve, ScienceATL/Atlanta Science Festival, Georgia State University, USGS - Amphibian Research & Monitoring Initiative, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and The Manchester Museum.
