CYT Chicago offers weekly classes during three separate sessions during the school year, with 2-hour classes that run for 9 to 10 weeks. It also offers week-long summer camps and week-long summer day camps, plus The Point - Act I and The Point - Act II for students in specific grade ranges.

About the provider
CYT Chicago began in 1997. As of its 25th anniversary season in 2022, it had produced more than 460 theatrical productions, drawn over 35,000 participating families, and more than one million patrons. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and its instructors are professionals who are qualified and experienced in the areas they teach and have been background checked. CYT Chicago serves Illinois and Wisconsin and produces Broadway-style musicals.
Auditions are reserved for students participating in the educational programming. Showcase performances are free of charge. Camp registration closes at 11:00am the Friday before camp starts. Enrollment in CYT classes provides students ages 8-18 the opportunity to audition for their chapter’s current production.
