Champ Camp Great Outdoors

Champ Camp Great Outdoors offers nature exploration, hands-on activities, and field trips throughout the summer. Campers take part in outdoor day camp experiences that include local exploration of Wilder Park, the Elmhurst Quarry Overlook, and the nature areas along Salt Creek. The camp cost includes two field trips each week.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions from 6/8/2026–8/7/2026, with core camp hours from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and no-fee extended care available from 7:30–9:00 a.m. and 4:00–5:30 p.m. (closed 7/3)
• Price: Weekly cost $450 including snacks; prorated cost for July Fourth week $360; Early Bird Promo saves $25 per week per camper when enrolled by 4/30 using code EARLYBIRD

Champ Camp Great Outdoors is part of Champions, whose stated mission is that Champions is a safe, healthy place for children and that education and development are important, with safety, security, and health as a top priority. Teachers and staff undergo extensive training on health and safety practices, including pandemic-response protocols, and are trained in first aid and CPR. Staff members are described as dedicated and friendly, and are trained in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
