About
DeForest Dance Academy offers a Recreational Dance program where students can take an hour-long dance class once a week or more. The program also includes a competitive dance team called Steppin’ Out Dance Company and a Summer Camp. Students who audition for Steppin’ Out Dance Company receive extensive training throughout the year in multiple styles of dance.
• Schedule: Office hours run Monday–Thursday 4:00 pm–9:00 pm and Saturday mid-day during the September–May season, with Friday and Sunday closed, and one studio offering Saturday hours by appointment only.
DeForest Dance Academy has two state of the art studio locations. The academy is owned by Ashley DeForest-Goletz. Steppin’ Out Dance Company is described as an award-winning competitive dance team. The academy is described as having a fun and welcoming environment, with experienced instructors and as one of the happiest dance studios in the western suburbs of Chicago.
