NFL Alumni Youth Football Camps focus on non-contact football skills and life skills through organized football programs and youth sports camps. Participants work on skills such as running, throwing, catching, and competing like NFL players in a non-contact setting. The program includes instruction in essential life skills along with football activities.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
NFL Alumni Youth Football Camps are operated by Pro Sports Experience, LLC. Camps are led by pro coaches with supplemental instruction from NFL Alumni players. Pro Sports Experience is an officially licensed partner of the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans and the National Football League Alumni Association.
Pro Sports Experience, LLC is led by Owner/President Tom Finks. The core management staff includes National Operations Director Mike Gross, Chief Financial Officer and Attorney Lisa Finks, and Communications Manager Kaitlin Palmer. Since 2002, Pro Sports Experience has operated over 900 community-based youth sports camps.
The program’s mission is to offer safe, non-contact football programs that develop skills, grow confidence and make the experience fun, while focusing on the science of skill development. The mission also includes introducing the game to young athletes, building confidence, and taking them to the next level, while teaching essential life skills that remain with them.
During the spring and summer of 2017, Emmy Award winners Mike Leonard and Mary Kay Wall followed NFL Alumni players and Pro Sports Experience in partnership with Parents for Peace and Justice as they served at-risk kids in Chicago neighborhoods. The Legacy of Hope documentary follows Tom Finks and his partnership with Chicago’s Parents for Peace and Justice and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, and shows the power of sports to change and save lives. Pro Sports Experience serves families in 9 NFL markets nationwide, and also offers a Family Football Gameshow hosted by an NFL Alumni player.
