About

Elmhurst Art Museum Camps include hands-on lessons in the Education Center and tours through current exhibitions. Campers work with a variety of media, including pinch pots, collage, printmaking, mosaics, painting, and drawing. Some activities take place in the McCormick House, which is a single family home designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

Full-day camps run from 9am–3pm, and half-day camps run from 9–11:30am or 12:30–3pm. Winter Break Art Camps are offered in one-week sessions from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026, with no camp on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

The leadership team includes Allison Peters Quinn, Executive Director & Chief Curator; Jane Chornij, Operations Manager; Karly Vance, Manager of Education; Reese Foytik, Studio Coordinator; Liz Chilsen, Manager of Exhibitions and Collections; Jenn Guistolise, Manager of Individual Giving; JoAnn Concialdi, Manager of Visitor Services; and Annē Edulan, Visitor Services Coordinator.

As part of its community involvement, the program includes Art From The Heart: Valentines for Seniors, where participants help make handmade Valentine cards for senior home residents in the community.
