Libertyville Recreation Programs & Activities includes arts and crafts, games and sports, nature related programs, and on-site field trips. The program also includes three visits to Adler Pool on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10:00 am–10:45 am. Camp meets rain or shine.

The Libertyville Recreation Department is a department of the Village of Libertyville supported by Village of Libertyville resident taxpayers. The Recreation Department offers year-round programs and events for the Libertyville community but welcomes all families regardless of residence. Program fees are offered for Village of Libertyville residents and non-residents. The swimming pools are available for public use from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. The department is involved with the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County (SRACLC), the Libertyville Civic Center, and the Senior Center.
