AYSO Region 300 Soccer Programs offers several types of soccer activities, including Playground, Core, Clinics, United Academy, United, and EPIC. Playground is a non-team oriented soccer program, while Core focuses on team play soccer. Clinics, United Academy, and United provide professionally-coached soccer training and team play, and EPIC offers recreational soccer for kids with disabilities supported by volunteer “buddies.”
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Clinics are offered Monday through Thursday during each Fall and Spring Season.
• Price: Clinics are optional, but included at no additional cost for all registered players.
Playground is non-team oriented and specially designed for 3 and 4 year olds with a focus on helping to develop fundamental motor skills using soccer as a common thread. Core team play for kids ages 4–18 includes one weekly game and practice coached by trained parent volunteers and optional professionally-coached clinics. EPIC is recreational soccer for kids with disabilities where volunteer “buddies” help support EPIC players of all ages to create a positive soccer experience for all.
Every Playground session is run by United Coaches. Core practices and games are coached by trained parent volunteers. Clinics, United Academy, and United are professionally-coached, and United Academy is uniquely focused on delivering player development through professional and positive coaching in a flexible, family-friendly format. United is focused on delivering player development through professional and positive coaching.
AYSO Region 300 is a 100% volunteer-run organization. The region’s member families live in Western Springs, La Grange, La Grange Park, Brookfield, Countryside, and surrounding communities. The region was founded in 1981. Its mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment built on the foundation of AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Balanced Teams, Everyone Plays®, Good Sportsmanship, Open Registration, Player Development, and Positive Coaching. The league is guided by these Six Philosophies. AYSO is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
