Elite Chess

Elite Chess offers weekly chess classes for kids from absolute beginner to experienced tournament player, along with one-week summer camps, tournaments for young or old at beginner or advanced levels, and after school programs. Classes are 1 hour and offered Monday through Saturday from 5-8pm depending on the child's level, and the academy has 5 class levels for kids from total beginners to expert tournament players.

About the provider

Elite Chess was started in 2012 and has expanded its programs over the last 12 years. Jeff DiOrio is the founder and CEO, and the leadership team also includes instructors and managers such as Eduardo Correa, Sebastian Aranda, Anthony Kindness, Usman Qazi, Srdjan Jefic, Lam Truong, Archit Deshpande, Will Johnson, Varun Vokkarane, Srivatsa Vokkarane, Tim Campbell, John Benas, Aayush Thakkar, and Sheetansu Bhusan Sahoo. The mission statement is "Using Chess to Change the World."

Free orientation and try a class for free. After 1 free class, the in-person chess academy is $117/month. Classes are 1 hour and offered Mon.-Sat. from 5-8pm depending on the child's level.
