Elite Chess offers weekly chess classes, summer camps, tournaments, after school programs, online lessons, and in-person classes. The program includes a free 20-minute, one-on-one mini-lesson and orientation with Naperville Center Manager Sebastian Aranda before ongoing enrollment.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Saturday, with 1-hour classes offered from 5–8pm depending on a child’s level, plus Sunday tournaments and a free 20-minute one-on-one mini-lesson/orientation
• Price: After 1 free class, in-person chess academy tuition is $117/month

Elite Chess operates a state of the art chess center and has two chess centers organization-wide. The program uses a structured curriculum, individual progress tracking, small class sizes, and offers both in-person and online options. Kids attend summer camps that are described as perfect for pausing video games, learning something new, and growing a child's mind during the summer months. Tournaments are described as transforming who a player is as a chess player. Families can receive a newsletter once a month with information on upcoming chess opportunities.

Elite Chess was started in 2012, and over the last 12 years it has expanded its programs. The leadership team includes Founder and CEO Jeff DiOrio, Naperville Center Manager Sebastian Aranda, and Wheaton Center Manager Usman Qazi.

Jeff DiOrio spent 15 years in education as a math teacher, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal at Naperville North High School, where he coached the chess team to a record 12 consecutive DuPage Valley Conference titles and an IHSA State Championship in 2015, and he was named Illinois Chess Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2017. Coach Srdjan is a FIDE Master, a 7-time Bosnian National Champion, has played in multiple European and World Championships, and has a current FIDE rating of 2312. Eduardo continues to actively compete and holds a rating of over 1700. Will recently achieved a peak chess.com blitz rating of 1911. Tim Campbell is a Court of Master Sommeliers-certified sommelier. Usman earned multiple All-Conference honors and 1st place at his board during the 2016–2017 IHSA State Finals.

The Elite Chess mission is “Using Chess to Change the World,” which the organization states it pursues by running top notch chess programs that teach life skills along with chess skills, offering positive opportunities for chess players from all walks of life, and focusing on charitable giving and making the community a better place. Elite Chess states that it believes in charitable giving and making the community a better place, and Tim Campbell regularly hosts wine tastings throughout the community.
