Kidz Kabaret

Kidz Kabaret is a non-audition children’s theater program. Every student receives both a speaking part and a supporting role in productions, and productions may be segmented by age group. Theater workshops and classes are also offered, along with private acting and voice lessons. The Kidz Kabaret Theater Camp includes summer camps for Grades K-3 and Grades 2-8.

• Theater Workshops and Classes — Offered in addition to full stage performances for students looking to build specific skills.
• Private Acting & Voice Lessons — Private instruction for students looking for additional instruction on a more personal level.
• Kidz Kabaret Theater Camp — Grades K-3; Grades 2-8 · Summer camps for young thespians to collaborate as an ensemble and bring a "kabaret" to life from initial concept to final performance.

About the provider

Kidz Kabaret was created in 2003 by Kandiss Hernandez with 18 youths staging a summer stock performance in her backyard. Its mission statement is "Every Child Center Stage™; introducing children and teens to theater; every child deserves his or her moment in the spotlight." Nearly 30,000 community members have attended one of their shows.

Non-audition children’s theater company. All students of all ages and abilities are welcome to join a production, regardless of previous theater experience. Productions may be segmented by age group. Kidz Kabaret was created as an alternative to traditional audition-based children’s theater programs.
