About

Momentum Swim Conditioning focuses on perfecting technique, building up endurance, and practicing starts, turns, and finishes. Swimmers in this program are required to be able to swim 25 yards unaided before registering. In order to keep lanes from being overcrowded, swimmers are asked to attend only on their registration days.

• Schedule: Winter Session 3 runs January 13–February 22; 2025–2026 sessions include Fall Session 1 (September 16–October 23, 2025), Fall Session 2 (November 3–December 12, 2025), Winter Session 3 (January 12–February 20, 2026), and Spring Session 4 (April 6–May 15, 2026); the winter session starts after Christmas Break, the spring session starts right after Spring Break, and spring registration opens Sunday, February 15, 2026

Momentum Swim Conditioning does not include meets, volunteering, or fund raising, and spots in the program fill up fast. The program offers swimmers the chance to stay in shape all year and keep their swimming momentum going, with a focus on conditioning the whole person, mind and body. The program states that every swimmer matters, builds lifelong swimmers through skill development and fun, provides individualized feedback to develop fundamentals, and emphasizes building relationships “one lap at a time.”

The leadership team includes Coach Ruthy, Coach Michelle, Coach Brian, and Coach Kathleen, with Liz as the contact at [email protected]. The program’s mission states that it wants swimmers to put down their cell phones, build up endurance, and swim the right way, and that when swimmers, parents, and coaches all swim, everyone wins. The mission also states that the program helps swimmers become the best version of themselves, offers a place where swimmers will grow, builds lifelong swimmers through skill development and fun, and provides individualized feedback to develop fundamentals. The mission further states that the program focuses on building relationships one lap at a time, conditioning the whole person—mind and body—and that every swimmer matters. Naperville's Saybrook Sharks Swim Team is listed as City Champs in 2016, 2017, and 2025, and the Naper Carriage Hill Swim Team is listed as City Champs in 2013 and 2015.
