The Momentum Swim Conditioning leadership team includes Coach Ruthy, Coach Michelle, Coach Brian, Coach Kathleen, and Liz, who is listed as the contact for FAQs and registration information. The program’s stated mission is for swimmers to put down their cell phones, build up endurance, and swim the right way, with an emphasis that when swimmers, parents, and coaches all swim, everyone wins. The mission also states that the program aims to help swimmers become the best version of themselves, provide a place where swimmers will grow, build lifelong swimmers through skill development and fun, and offer individualized feedback to develop fundamentals while building relationships one lap at a time.

Coach Ruthy has over 36 years of coaching experience, has been Head Coach of Naperville's Saybrook Sharks Swim Team since 2001 with City Championships in 2016, 2017, and 2025, has coached Benet Academy Girls JV from 2016–2022, 2024, and 2025, has been a Naperville Swim Conference New Coaches Facilitator since 2023, and has taught at Saints Peter and Paul School in Naperville since 1998. The program lists several unique features: there are no meets, no volunteering, and no fundraising; it states that it conditions the whole person, mind and body; it states that every swimmer matters; it states that it builds lifelong swimmers through skill development and fun; and it states that individualized feedback will help develop fundamentals.
