About
Sur La Table Naperville Cooking Classes offers hands-on cooking classes, including kids and teens cooking classes, couples cooking classes, corporate event cooking classes, and private events cooking classes. Classes cover a wide variety of cuisine from around the world and embrace the latest food trends while also using timeless culinary traditions. Chef instructors lead students step by step as they work together at shared workstations stocked with tools and ingredients.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: In-store classes are 2 to 2½ hours in length unless otherwise noted.
• Price: In-store classes start at $69 per person; private events have group options for 10 to 30 people and prices starting at $90–$160 per person.
All ingredients and equipment are provided for in-store classes, and an apron is provided. Students collaborate in groups of up to four at shared workstations, and class sizes are small to allow for personalized attention. Attendees can sample a generous portion of what they make in each class, and students receive detailed recipes and comprehensive at-home instructions. Online classes are given in real time via Zoom and include a prep packet with an ingredient list beforehand so families can assemble the needed tools and ingredients at home. Gift cards and e-gift cards can be used toward online and in-store cooking classes. Private events are available for birthday parties, corporate events, girls’ nights, and more, and a knife sharpening service is also offered. Participants are asked to wear casual clothes that they do not mind getting messy, flat comfortable shoes with no open toes or sandals, and to pull long hair back.
