Ultimate Dance On the Move has been serving dancers in the West Suburbs of Chicago since June 2013. It opened a pop-up dance studio in downtown Plano in September 2016 that expanded to a permanent full running studio location in January 2017, and in 2019 it opened a pop-up Naperville dance studio. The program also offers mobile classes at children’s daycare centers, where students take class in the clothes they wear to school and are not required to have specific dance clothing.

The program states that it is more than just dance and that it values friendship, building relationships between dancers and families, goal setting and completion, and building confidence in each dancer. It describes itself as very goal and achievement oriented and states that every child that joins Ultimate Dance On the Move leaves a more confident child and a better dancer. It also offers a Happiness Guarantee so families can feel confident with registration, and provides a year-end dance recital that does not require an extra day for dress rehearsal, is under an hour, and is created to accommodate younger children and busy families, with a stated 100% guarantee that each child will feel confident on stage.

Ultimate Dance On the Move offers a $10 trial class, a free special gift, and a bonus offer. It has studio locations and multiple mobile locations, including classes held at children’s daycare centers, and inclusively serves kids of all ages and all levels. The program offers mobile classes that focus on creative movement through dance with a mix of ballet, tap, hip hop, and jazz, provides weekly skill level updates for mobile classes via email (unless otherwise noted), and takes weekly photos and videos in mobile classes that are posted in a class-specific album on the app, viewable only by other students in the class. An app is available on Apple iOS and Android. The program also offers birthday parties, a competition team, and, according to testimonials, has provided remote and online activities such as family dance parties and story time during shutdowns.

The leadership team includes CEO and founder Cheyanne Diaz, office administrator Miss Madi, and instructors Miss Lexi, Miss Felicia, Miss McKenzie, Miss Jennifer, and Miss Morgan. Cheyanne has experience in recreational, competition, and pre-professional dancing, as well as gymnastics and cheerleading. Ultimate Dance On the Move continues to grow its mobile program to daycares and schools in the area, and all mobile students get to perform with their center at the Winter showcase and End of the Year recital with other daycare and studio classes (unless otherwise noted). According to a testimonial, all of Ultimate Dance On the Move’s competition teams in one year brought home Regional Champs. Multiple parent testimonials describe the staff as flexible and caring, mention remote dance classes and online activities such as family dance parties and story time during shutdowns, and note children’s enjoyment of dance, recitals with daycare classmates, and performing on stage with friends.
