WS Kids Camp is in its 4th year. The camp is run by Jack Fielding, a high school student at Lyons Township High School in Western Springs with over 6 years of camp counseling experience, who also serves as Manager. The staff team consists of highly trained older teens from the Western Springs area with adult supervision at all times. Kids are separated into groups by age, with special requests allowed for siblings or friends to be together even if they are in different age groups. If a child is signed up for multiple sessions, the 30 minutes between each session is free and games are played during that time. Fridays are water days. The mission of Western Springs Kids Camp is stated as a place for kids of all types, sporty, creative, social, and shy, to connect and play like kids are supposed to.

WS Kids Camp is partnered with the local foundation for pediatric brain tumor research, Winning With Wyatt, and a portion of proceeds is donated to support the foundation. Winning With Wyatt is a local foundation in La Grange and Western Springs that supports pediatric brain tumor research at leading institutions and is dedicated to building awareness of the impact brain tumors have on children and advocating for more advanced treatment. WSKidsCamp, LCC, has been in place since 2024.

Since camp is held outdoors, families are asked to send campers in summer clothing such as T-shirts and shorts, with a full water bottle, sunscreen, gym shoes, and a towel to place their belongings on. It is recommended that campers use the bathroom before camp starts. On Fridays, which are water days, campers should wear a bathing suit and bring a towel, and may also bring goggles if needed.
