Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps state that learning is organized, fun is emphasized, and safety is prioritized, and also state that camp safety is the number one priority on and off the court. Camps are open to any and all and are only restricted by age, grade, and gender, and this site is coed for ages 9–18 of all skill levels. Kids are grouped by skill, age, and experience, and groups may change during camp, and this camp does not offer swimming as an option.

The camps are directed by collegiate coaches, and campers train with NCAA college tennis coaches who also coach athletes in Division I and Division III. Coaches have experience in youth development programs, junior tournaments, and collegiate competition. The Camp Director is Jeremy Wurtzman, Head Men’s Tennis Coach at Indiana University and the 2013 Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.

The program uses a comprehensive instructional format with daily teaching progressions and small instructional groups to allow for individual attention. Traditional camps emphasize stroke production and swing fundamentals, while Match Play and Elite Training Camps focus on higher-intensity training that includes advanced drills, strategy, and point construction. UTR Showcase camps within the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps system combine intensive instruction with UTR-rated match play opportunities, and the camps are described as preparation for middle school, high school, or USTA team tennis or tournaments.

Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps are hosted on premier college campuses nationwide and provide junior players ages 5–18 with structured training led by NCAA coaches, spanning beginner, intermediate development, and elite junior tennis training. The Indiana University camp offers an overnight option with a commuter option, with roommate requests available for overnight campers. Meals are included for both overnight and commuter campers as specified by the program, and there is a camp demo program with the latest Wilson rackets, along with a Wilson raffle and prizes for all campers.

Overnight campers are asked to bring tennis rackets, tennis shoes, a water bottle, tennis clothes, a hat or visor, casual clothes, bath and shower towels, sunscreen, bedding (as specified by the camp), toiletries, a fan, pillows, snack food, and optional spending money. Day campers are asked to bring a tennis racket, tennis shoes, sunscreen, a hat or visor, a water bottle, and signed medical and liability forms if not completed online during registration.

Parent feedback about Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps includes comments that coaching staff are friendly, connect well with kids, and handle a wide range of abilities, and that instructors are attentive and provide individual feedback with each session having a deliberate focus. Parents also report that beginners have learned a lot and enjoyed the camp, that some campers have chosen to attend tennis camp instead of other camps, and that campers are tired at the end of the day with coaches who are engaging and teach skills to improve tennis. Other parents note positive experiences training with college players, enjoying the environment on college campuses, and returning for multiple summers because their children enjoy playing tennis all day, the games, making friends, and the instruction.
