Breakthrough Basketball Camps offers instruction in ball handling, scoring skills, shooting, passing, athleticism, footwork, decision-making, and 1 on 1 moves. Camp activities include a stationary ball handling routine, live ball moves, explosive dribble moves, scoring moves, game like shooting drills, a form shooting routine, finishing techniques, and 1 on 1 finishing drills. Players also work on cutting and getting open with v-cuts, basket cuts, l-cuts, and backdoor cuts, as well as attacking down screens and back screens, scoring and making plays using ball screens, using dribble hand off actions, and footwork skills such as front pivots, reverse pivots, step throughs, sweeps, drop steps, hops, and competitive passing drills.

Breakthrough Basketball was founded by brothers Joe and Jeff Haefner along with their father, Dennis, and now includes teams for office and administration, product development, basketball camps, and marketing. The organization states that its mission is to help basketball players and coaches improve, both on and off the court, and it offers over 400 camps across the United States along with dozens of eBooks and videos and a large collection of online training resources. The Youth Ball Handling and Scoring Skills Basketball Camp is for boys and girls in grades 3rd to 8th, and each session is limited to 60 players.
