About
Bright Start Child Care Ministry includes active hands-on learning and play in developmentally appropriate play centers and with toys. Children have outdoor play twice a day, where they can run, jump, use a playset, ride around a track, and do large motor activities. The program also uses an indoor playground with a slide, ball pit, mini rock-climbing wall, and carpeted roads.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
• Schedule: 6:00 am–6:00 pm
• Price: $20 off weekly tuition when you enroll 2 siblings; $30 off with 3; $40 off with 4 (available only if family enrolls full time); families will receive a $50 credit on tuition each time a family they refer enrolls
The program uses a curriculum in all classrooms that is different, flexible, and encourages active hands-on learning. Teachers create curriculum based on each child’s developmental progress and provide different levels of educational content based on individual developmental needs using the Indiana “Foundations” assessment tool for Kindergarten readiness. Curriculum tools are based on research and best practices and focus on benchmarks in English/Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art, Creative Arts, Social/Emotional, Large/Small motor, Personal Care, and Safety.
Bright Start Child Care Ministry offers livestream video in every classroom using PB&J technology so parents can tune in and see their child in action. The Procare parent app provides real-time updates about meals, naps, and more, along with daily pictures and instant communication with teachers. Future siblings of enrolled children are guaranteed a spot, and the program offers a sibling tuition discount structure and referral tuition credit.
The Director, Amanda Clapp, leads the program and has 21+ years of early childhood experience. The stated mission is to focus on the entirety of all growth and developmental areas for young children.
