Brown's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, including Adults Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No Gi Jiu Jitsu, a Women's Only Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class, and a kids program. Men, women, and children ages 5 and up train together as a team in this program. Brown’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was founded in 2016. Professor Michael (Mike) Brown, also referred to as Professor Brown, founded the school to help bring the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to this town. The program has offered a robust kids program since opening and describes the kids program as part of the foundation of the school. It offers training to children from 5 years of age up and includes activities built into the training to help them be successful and find the art enjoyable. Adults Gi classes follow the historical way to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, favoring the Gi and allowing for a chess-like approach to the art, with weekly classes and multiple specialists to help students find their style. The program also offers weekly No Gi Jiu Jitsu training with multiple instructors, and it provides a women’s only space for learning and practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. All memberships are month to month with no contracts, prices for monthly membership are subject to change, and families are directed to speak with Professor Brown about family packages.
