Columbus Youth Camp Summer Programs include activities such as a zip line, team challenge course, paddling on the lake, a mountain bike trail, and other challenge courses. Campers take part in swimming, hiking on trails, playing games, water activities, and spending time at an outdoor theater. The programs also offer experiential learning programs and training, STEM and STEAM activities with 3D projects, sports, arts, cooking, outdoor adventure, reading and math academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, sports leagues, out of school activities, camps, prevention services, mentoring services, aquatics, and athletics.

Foundation For Youth has been a community pillar for youth and families across Bartholomew County and beyond since 1928, and Columbus Youth Camp has offered fun, laughter, and learning since 1935. CYC Specialty Camps offer themed weeks that focus on areas such as STEM, sports, arts, cooking, and outdoor adventure. Some staff are certified through the Child and Youth Care Certification Board (CYCCB). The mission of Foundation For Youth is “To Inspire and Enable Our Youth, Our Community.” Foundation For Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and STAY Youth is designated a Platinum Level participant, showing a stated commitment to transparency. M.E.T.A.S. (Making Education Thrive Around Summertime) is a partnership between Foundation For Youth and Su Casa Columbus that serves Latino students in Bartholomew County in grades 1–6 and includes free transportation, meals, culturally responsive support, and community partnerships. Out in the woods at Columbus Youth Camp, kids explore 137 acres of forest, trails, and water, and many young campers later return as counselors.
