Total Taekwondo offers Tiny Tykes for ages 3-6, where children learn basics at a slow pace through drills and games, and belt tips are added for progress. It also offers Kids’ Classes for ages 7-11, with beginner/intermediate or intermediate/advanced class options that focus on strength, flexibility, kicking, and traditional martial arts.
Programs
- Tiny Tykes — Ages 3-6 · Introduces youngest martial artists to basics at a slow pace using drills and games; belt tips are added for progress; values: focus, confidence, balance, respect, and memory.
- Kids’ Classes — 7-11 · Beginner/Intermediate or Intermediate/Advanced class; typically lasts between 45 minutes and an hour; focuses on strength, flexibility, kicking, and traditional martial arts.
- Teen and Adult Classes — For teen and adult students; focuses on basics of martial arts and is for older students regardless of experience.
- Core Sparring Classes — Offered at both beginner and advanced levels; focuses on the sport aspect of Taekwondo, or Taekwondo’s Olympic style.
- Total Combatives Classes — Open to all black belts, teens, and adults; teaches self-defense using boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and grappling.
- Tournament Team Classes — Invitation-only higher-level classes for students who want to compete at an elite level; advanced and requires a high level of training and a hyper-focused mindset.
