About
Carmel Judo offers Judo and Jiu Jitsu, including a children’s program, women’s only classes, and sparring. The program includes more than 60 classes and offers 1-on-1 intro lessons as part of getting started. Instruction follows Dr. Kano’s Judo Moral Code, which emphasizes courage, respect, modesty, friendship, honor, honesty, self-control, and courtesy, and uses these lessons to involve students in leadership skills, with a focus on attention span, confidence, and character development for children.
